Electronic Livescan Fingerprinting
We use advanced electronic Live Scan technology to capture your fingerprints quickly and accurately. The process only takes 5–10 minutes, and your fingerprints are transmitted electronically to the California Department of Justice (DOJ) before you leave. This efficient process drastically reduces turnaround time compared to traditional ink cards.

- Your completed Request for Live Scan Service Form provided by the agency requesting your fingerprints.
- A valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., California Driver License or ID, U.S. Passport, Green Card).
- PLEASE NOTE: Expired IDs are not accepted.
CA-DOJ Record Review
You are entitled to request a copy of your California criminal history record for review and accuracy. We can assist with this process — results are typically mailed to you within 7–10 business days.
FBI Record Review
Traditionally, obtaining your FBI criminal record required ink fingerprint cards and a mailed request, taking 4–6 weeks. We now offer a faster service that allows you to submit prints and access your FBI criminal history online within 24-48 hours after submission.

FD-258 & FD-1164 Ink Card Fingerprinting
In addition to electronic Live Scan, we offer traditional FBI fingerprint ink card services for both FD-258 and FD-1164 cards when required — for things such as out-of-state licensing, immigration, visas, employment purposes, or federal agency submissions. These ink cards remain necessary for agencies that do not accept electronic fingerprint submissions.
